St Mary's Primary School Bowraville

The works involved a redesign of the structural engineering and the construction of a new classroom block, canteen, administration block and refurbishment of the existing classroom block.

Generally the construction consisted of waffle pod slabs on ground complete with driven timber piles. The buildings were framed with a combination of structural steel and timber roof trusses and finished with sheet metal roofing.

Externally the buildings were face brickwork to door head height with corrugated sheet metal above. General internal finishes included carpet, tiled wet areas, plasterboard wall linings and extensive pin board wall linings to door head height.

External works included a new asphalt carpark, mass planting, coloured concrete paving, disabled access ramps, palisade site fencing and an in situ soft fall playground area.
