This project was a new hall and teaching block for Tamworth Public School.
The works included demolition and removal of several small buildings, demountables, and COLAs to make way for a new multipurpose hall and teaching block.
The new hall facilities include a communal hall area with a movable stage, toilets, storerooms, kitchenette and teachers office.
The new teaching block includes several learning spaces and practical activities areas, accessible toilets on each level, a lift and a linkway to Block A.
It also included the refurbishment of the former teacher's college.
Due to the works at the school and the increased electrical demand a new electrical substation and an upgrading of the power network including poles and wires was required on Napier Street.
